Roles on Goonwall.

Everyone with an account. You can watch, react, comment, follow people, message your friends, build your own channels and sessions, and upload. Every upload is reviewed against our content rules before it goes live.

You become a Contributor automatically the first time something you uploaded goes live. It shows on your profile. Deleting an upload later, or having one declined, doesn’t take it away.

A PMV creator the community recognises. You apply, and we grant it by hand. Editor sits alongside Contributor, not above it. Editors will be able to take commissions once commissions open.

Builds channels for everyone. Once the Curator opens, any member can build channels for themselves; a Curator can also publish channels to the public catalogue. We grant it to members who already build good channels. Curators don’t create competitions or games.

Runs live events. Once watchparties open, Goon-masters can host public parties, where other members host parties for their friends. Goon-masters host friendly Goon Games inside games that already exist. They don’t create competitions or new games.

Reviews uploads and reports against our published rules. Moderation is a paid position, under its own agreement. It’s paid as a monthly fee for keeping the queue clear, never per item. Moderators never review their own uploads. We’ll say here when it opens.
